Policies and Fees

Payment

Payment can be made via our website, bank transfer or secure payment link.

Invoices will be sent to your preferred email address or telephone number.

Booking Confirmation

Bookings for housesitting and stay and trains are only confirmed once a 20% deposit is paid and a completed Client Information Form is submitted.

The remaining balance must be paid no later than 48 hours prior to the start of the service.

 

Bookings for all other training services are only confirmed once full payment has been made and a Training Consent Form submitted.

 

Ced’s Adventure Pack cannot guarantee availability if forms and deposits are not completed within 10 business days of initial contact.

Cancellations

Training or walk services -

If you need to reschedule a training service, I will do my best to re-book you as soon as possible however this is subject to availability

Cancellations of Training Sessions must be notified in writing to Ced’s Adventure Pack.

 If more than 2 (two) days’ notice is given, Customers will receive a refund for the session minus a 20% (twenty percent) cancellation fee unless we can fill the dates with a another pre-registered client.

· If more than 7 (seven) days or more notice is given, Customers will receive a full refund for the session.

· If less than 24 (twenty-four) hour’s notice is given, the session is charged in full.

House sits & Stay and Trains - 

​Cancellations of housesits or stay and trains made within 7 days prior to arrival will result in 50% of the remaining balance being due unless we can fill the dates with a another pre-registered client. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will incur the full remaining balance.

Any changes to booking dates or times must be communicated to Charlie Woodyer-Ward as soon as possible. If additional dates are required, these may not always be accommodated, and additional charges will apply. Payment for additional charges must be made before the end of the service.

Peak dates 

Bookings that are due to be carried out on any of the following dates will be priced at the peak rate:​

  • Apr 3-6, 2026

  • May 1-4, 2026

  • May 22-25, 2026

  • 24th Jul 2026 - 30th Aug 2026

Holiday dates 

Bookings that are due to be carried out on any of the following dates will be priced at the Holiday rate Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day

Travel 

We are happy to travel to care for clients outside our normal area however travel fees may apply and will be confirmed at the time of booking

Client locations within 10miles of SN7 will not incur a travel fee

Safety 

Dogs that are new to me or do not demonstrate reliable recall whilst with me will be kept on lead during their stay - no matter if off-lead consent is given

Should you wish for secure fields to be used - this can be done so at cost to the owner

 

I am happy to accept dogs that require muzzles but these must be supplied by the owner and be secure fitting with adequate pant room - if you need recommendations, please ask!

Please provide your normal equipment for walks (eg lead, collar with tag, harness etc). If any equipment provided appears worn or not secure, we may use our own gear to ensure safety.

Extreme Weather

In cases of extreme weather, it may be required to reschedule, cut short or cancel services. I will do my best to give as much notice of this however my top priority is the safety of the dogs and myself.

Keys and Access

Keys are stored securely and anonymously whilst in my care

Should you have specific requests for accessing your property (eg, using the back door only) please include this in your client information form

The handover of keys on start and end of a service will be discussed prior to the service starting. 

Ced's Adventure Pack is not liable for any loss, damage or incidents occurring from leaving a key in a requested 'safe spot'

Post, Deliveries and Visitors 

Whilst we are happy to bring in post and deliveries whilst at your house, please let us know if you are expecting any and we recommend setting a safe leaving place with the courier in case we are out with the dogs when a delivery arrives 

Ced's Adventure Pack holds no liability for parcels not delivered, stolen or lost during our stay

Please inform us ahead of time if you are expecting any visitors to the property during our stay, including but not limited to family, friends or other service providers. Unless written instruction is given, we will not allow access to the property to anyone not apart of Ced's Adventure Pack

Media 

Photos and videos taken while pets are in the care of Ced's Adventure Pack may be used for promotional use across our social media, website and physical marketing

If you do not wish for us to use any media taken, please inform us so in writing before the service begins

Additional Fees

All additional fees not pertaining to additional services requested after the beginning of a service will be quoted in the original invoice.

Day time adhoc hours for dog sitting are charged at £18.00 per hour and capped at our 24hr rate of £50. Additional fee may apply additional dogs however this will be determined on a case by case basis depending on the level of care required and total number of dogs.

'Extended hours' fees are to cover the hours that fall after the 24hr mark on a housesit if the return time is after this. We calculate this based on our arrival time on the first day of the sit

Travel Fees are charged at £0.45p per mile, as advised by government guidelines, outside the radius of 10miles from SN7 ​

Additional dogs for overnight sits are charged at £20per 24hrs

We do not currently offer care for additional pets like cats, fish or other small animals however if you are looking to book in your dog and also have other pets, please contact us to discuss if we can help
