About Us
Hey, Charlie here!
The dedicated human behind Ced's Adventure Pack
You can usually find me out with the dogs, listening to music with a white monster in hand or cruising around the country in my VW Camper van
I always wanted a dog to join me on my adventures, so 3 years ago enter Cedders!
Instead of fun in the sun though, we had an absolute whirlwind of the first 2 years raising this crazy terrier who turned out to be a very SPICY boy
True to his terrier name, he was loud, bitey, full of energy and some big big feelings about the world
After a complete overhaul and dedication to learn everything to help change his mindset - In 2025, I took the step from dog owner to dog trainer, completing a 6month trainer mentorship that taught me the skills for transferring everything I learnt to new people and their dogs.
I am always growing and updating my skills, attending workshops, joining online memberships and webinars ran by other trainers and professionals
The real star of the show
Meet Cedric, my 3yr old terrier mix, a big lover of adventure and chaos, Ced is invaluable helping me train other dogs and keeping me company wherever we go, but that wasn't always the case!
At his worst, his behaviour felt so unpredictable, he would be fine one second then barking and lunging the next and I couldn't work out how to help him - all the training advise we found online told us to tighten his obedience or counter condition him with food but he was fine when training, but it was doing nothing to change his underlying big feelings about the world.
Then we found a behaviourist who changed the game - they showed us a holistic approach, we started from the ground up, reducing his stress and resetting his nervous system so he was in a learning state of mind and then working on the habits he had built. We went from avoiding the world to teaching him how to not only cope, but thrive!

How we train

We tailor every service to the dog in front of us - whether they are a couch potato who just needs some company or are high energy that needs their brain worked in order to switch off - everyday looks different
Our training focuses on solid foundations, breed fulfilment and solid relationships - what does this look like?
We break things down for the dogs, making sure they understand what we are asking and then holding them accountable
Dogs get to be dogs - whether that's sniffing, playing, running or snoozing, we encourage dogs to do the things they enjoy whilst keeping their listening ears on
Ultimately I want dogs to know they can and should look to humans for guidance - whether that's keeping an eye on where we are on a walk, trusting us to handle situations they are unsure of or listening to feedback for what is the right or wrong choice
